Guide
Travelling with children and extra luggage
Choosing a vehicle that fits the whole family, fitting child seats, and getting through the terminal without a rush.

Step by step
What to do, in order
What to do at each step, why it matters, and what you should be looking at.
Count the people and the bags together
The number that decides the vehicle is not the number of passengers, it is the passengers plus everything that needs a space. A pushchair, a travel cot and a car seat all travel in the same boot as the suitcases, and a party that fits a saloon on the way out rarely fits it on the way home.
Choose a vehicle with room to spare
Every option on the quote page lists its passenger and suitcase capacity. Treat those as the maximum rather than the target: an estate that takes four adults and four cases is full at that, and a family of four with a pushchair is usually happier in the next size up.
Book the child seats with the journey
Tell us the age of each child travelling and the right carrier, seat or booster is fitted before pickup, at no extra cost. Say so when you book rather than on the day: a seat that has to be fetched is a delay at the kerb with the children already in the car.
Allow for the terminal, not just the drive
With children, the slow part of the journey is inside the airport: the bag drop, the pushchair, the toilets and the walk to the gate. Book the pickup earlier than you would for yourself, and add meet and greet on the way home so nobody is standing at a kerb waiting for a car.
Coming home with more than you left with
Return journeys carry more than outward ones — presents, shopping, a pushchair that was not needed on the way out. Book the return leg with the luggage you expect to bring back, and if the party or the bags change while you are away, call us and we will move you up a vehicle size.
Questions
Questions we are asked
How far in advance do I need to book?
At least four hours before your pickup. You can book up to six months ahead, and booking earlier is always cheaper than booking on the day.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight number and move your pickup to match your actual landing time. There is no extra charge for a delayed flight, and your driver waits until you come through arrivals.
Is the price fixed, or does it change with traffic?
It is fixed. The price you are quoted when you book is the price you pay. Traffic, time of day and the route your driver takes do not change it.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancel up to 24 hours before your pickup and you are refunded in full. Inside 24 hours, contact us and we will do what we can.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes — child and booster seats can be added when you book at no extra cost. Tell us the ages of the children travelling so the right seats are fitted.
How much luggage can I bring?
Each vehicle listing shows its passenger and suitcase capacity. If you are unsure whether your luggage will fit, choose the next size up or contact us before booking.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, at no extra cost. Tell us the ages of the children travelling when you book and the right seats are fitted before the driver sets off.
How many child seats can you fit?
Two in most vehicles and three in the larger ones, and each takes a passenger seat. Book a six or eight-seater if there are three children plus adults.
Can we bring a pushchair?
Yes. Mention it when you book so the vehicle is sized for it — a pushchair takes the boot space a large suitcase would have used.
